Rahim brings a wealth of experience in technology leadership and innovation, having served as CEO of Juniper Networks since 2014. With over two decades of service at Juniper, he played a key role in shaping the company’s growth from its early days as a startup to a global leader in secure, AI-driven networking solutions.
Rahim joined Juniper in 1997 alongside the first group of employees and steadily climbed the ranks, holding various technical and leadership positions before becoming CEO. His tenure has been marked by a deep commitment to driving innovation, advancing platform technologies, and delivering cutting-edge security and automation solutions to customers worldwide.

A graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science from Stanford University, Rahim also completed an executive program at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. He holds 20 U.S. patents in networking technologies and is a member of the IEEE.
