When you wear different uniforms, but play for the same team — no matter the patch, we are all still family!
A huge thank you to the men in red for responding quickly to a house fire on Oxford and Washington this afternoon. The Chicago Ridge Fire Department was supported by multiple agencies including North Palos FD, Burbank FD, Bedford Park FD, Bridgeview FD, and Oak Lawn FD. Their combined efforts helped bring the fire under control in record time.
Officers Kaspar and Jenen were among the first on scene and assisted the homeowner in safely evacuating their two dogs. After the fire was fully extinguished, the two cats were found unharmed. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
This is a powerful reminder of how our emergency services work together, not just as separate departments, but as a unified force dedicated to protecting the community. It's heartwarming to see so many brave individuals stepping up when it matters most.
