This is from Josh Boyajian: Last month marked the first full month of Lisle Woodridge Fire Protection District using their new numbering system provided by DuComm. It's been an interesting transition, and I thought I'd share the updated station assignments. Currently, Medic 55 is out for re-chassis work, and I believe it will be replaced with a brand-new International Dura Star. Meanwhile, the new Engine 52 is now in service. The former Pierce Dash Engine that was stationed at Station 2 has been re-assigned to become Engine 55. I've attached two photos showing Engine 55 and the Reserve Medic 53. Here’s the current setup at each station: **Station 51** - Medic 51 - Engine 51 - Ladder 51 - Battalion 51 **Station 52** - Medic 52 - Engine 52 - Squad 52 **Station 53** - Tower Ladder 53 - Reserve Medic 53 **Station 54** - Engine 54 **Station 55** - Medic 55 - Engine 55 I think this new system makes things a bit more streamlined, especially with the addition of the new Engine 52 and the reassignment of Engine 55. It’s good to see the department updating their fleet and operations. If you have any questions or want to know more about the changes, feel free to reach out.
