The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will list a single “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†for chemical new materials. The draft has been completed and will be released to the public during the year. The new types of chemical materials involved include fluorine-silicon materials, engineering plastics, special rubbers, functional membrane materials, and biomass materials. The person in charge of the Electronic Materials Industry Association pointed out that most of the above-mentioned products can be used in the electronic field. In addition, due to supply disruption caused by the earthquake in Japan, electronic chemicals have already presented considerable opportunities for industry. The report quoted relevant sources as saying that the "12th Five-Year Special Plan for Chemical New Materials" will be parallel to the "Special Plan for the 12th Five-Year Plan" of the Fluorine Chemical Industry. "This is because the new chemical materials are more important and need to be listed separately.
