Recently, Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. and Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall and the Implementation Measures for the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls. The recall plan will recall the following vehicles from February 5, 2018, for a total of 575,341 vehicles.
(1) Beijing Benz Auto Co., Ltd. (a total of 376,501 vehicles):
A total of 307 GLK-class vehicles were produced from December 2, 2011 to November 26, 2015;
A total of 3,412 GLC SUVs were produced from September 11, 2014 to July 22, 2017;
Some C-class vehicles produced from November 8, 2011 to July 20, 2017, a total of 61,708 vehicles;

Some C-class vehicles produced from February 8, 2012 to June 7, 2017, a total of 21,175 vehicles;
Some E-class vehicles produced from February 7, 2013 to December 20, 2016, a total of 15,760 vehicles;
Some CLA-class vehicles produced from October 10, 2013 to June 12, 2017, a total of 52,542 vehicles;
A total of 6,346 vehicles were produced from March 13, 2014 to June 7, 2017.
The steering components of some vehicles within this recall range are not grounded. If the affected vehicle has a clock spring in the steering column module disconnected due to foreign matter entering, the warning message of the driver's airbag will be displayed on the instrument panel and the red airbag warning light will be on. In extreme cases, the front airbag of the driver may be triggered, posing a safety hazard.
