Last week, Tim Olk shared some chilling images from a tragic motor vehicle accident that took place at the intersection of Dundee Road and Skokie Boulevard. According to reports, a red car attempted to make a turn from Dundee Road onto Skokie Boulevard but ended up in the path of an oncoming pickup truck. Tragically, the passenger in the red car didn't survive the collision. Once the North Regional Task Force Major Crash Assistance Team (NORTAF MCAT) finished their investigation at the scene, emergency responders had to use specialized tools like the Jaws of Life to extricate the deceased from the wreckage. The car was then moved to a remote parking area for further processing.
