During a visit to Colombia in 2003, Omar discovered their incredible work and fell in love with their dedication to creating these stunning pieces. Each item begins as pine wood, adorned with real flowers—like gardenias and roses—that are carefully picked from their gardens and pressed flat using old-fashioned telephone books. After drying, the flowers are arranged by hand onto the wooden base, followed by multiple layers of epoxy for protection. The end result is both breathtaking and practical—a true testament to craftsmanship. This collection is exclusive to Restoration Oak, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with these inspiring women to develop new designs.
