Wednesday evening at around 9 PM, emergency services were dispatched to the intersection of Lake-Cook Road and IL Route 53 in Long Grove following a severe collision. The incident involved a late-model Ford Excursion carrying six people that collided head-on with a Toyota sedan occupied by a single driver. First responders quickly mobilized, with Long Grove Ambulance 55 transporting the Toyota’s driver to Lutheran General Hospital. Meanwhile, Palatine Ambulance 82 and Lake Zurich Ambulance 4 each took two additional patients to nearby medical facilities.
