Hey there,
This message is from Dennis McGuire, Jr., and he just sent over some photos of the two new rigs that Marionette Park Fire Department now has. First off, they’ve got a utility van that serves as a support vehicle, and a brand-new Pierce truck that’s set to take over for their older vehicles, including the Mack CF (formerly used by X-FDNY) and another one from Pennsville, New Jersey. For now, though, the Pierce truck isn’t operational yet because they’re still waiting on formal training sessions to get everyone up to speed.
Dennis mentioned that these new additions are part of their ongoing efforts to modernize and upgrade their fleet. He also shared some awesome photos with me—check them out below!
First up is Truck 2664, a 2015 Pierce Dash CF PUC 1500-400 with a 105-foot aerial ladder. It’s a beast of a machine and looks like it means serious business. The next photo shows the new truck’s design and graphics—it’s sharp, professional, and definitely stands out. Finally, there’s the 2013 Ford Van, Unit 2628, which seems perfect for utility tasks around the station.
These updates are really exciting for the department, and I’m sure they’ll make a huge difference when it comes to response times and overall efficiency. Dennis took all these photos himself, and you can tell he’s proud of what they’ve accomplished so far. Looking forward to seeing how these new vehicles perform once everything is fully operational!
Take care,
