Among them is the Shanxi Coal Chemical Technology International R&D Center, recommended by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The Shanxi Coal Chemical Institute set up the International R&D Center to tackle critical technical challenges related to reducing pollution emissions and improving the efficiency of coal utilization in combustion, conversion, and pollution control processes. Through this platform, the institute has made notable progress, with the "Keystone Theory and Technology for the Efficient Use of Lignite for Clean Utilization" project recently approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology as an international cooperation initiative. Since the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, the institute's international collaboration has entered a new phase, characterized by broader engagement and more comprehensive partnerships. The establishment of these key scientific research institutions provides a stronger foundation for the Shanxi Coal Chemical Institute to access global innovation resources, foster cutting-edge research, and enhance its overall technological capabilities.
