Jianghuai Automobile announced on January 23 that it plans to invest its own funds into a new project aimed at producing 40,000 heavy-duty trucks annually. The total investment for the project amounts to 837 million yuan, with 647 million yuan allocated for fixed-asset investment and 190 million yuan for working capital. The facility will be located in the Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone in Anhui Province.
The company mentioned that the construction period is expected to last 2.5 years, with operations starting in the third year and reaching full production by the sixth year. Once operational, the project is projected to generate an annual sales revenue of approximately 4.48 billion yuan, with a total annual profit of 334.4 million yuan and an after-tax profit of around 224.4 million yuan. This indicates strong financial potential and long-term growth prospects for the company.
In addition, Jianghuai Automobile has also decided to invest 24.6747 million yuan in the second phase of the project, focusing on additional capital contributions to Hefei Jianghuai Foundry Co., Ltd. Following this capital increase, the company's total investment in the foundry will reach 232.4535 million yuan, representing 98.98% of the company’s total equity. This move underscores the company’s strategic focus on strengthening its supply chain and enhancing its manufacturing capabilities.
