Jianghuai Automobile recently announced on January 23 that it plans to invest its own funds into a new project aimed at producing 40,000 heavy-duty trucks annually. The total investment for the project amounts to 837 million yuan, with 647 million yuan allocated for fixed-asset investment and 190 million yuan designated as working capital. The facility will be located in the Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone in Anhui Province. The company stated that the construction period for the project is expected to last 2.5 years, with operations beginning in the third year and full production reaching capacity by the sixth year. Once operational, the project is projected to generate an annual sales revenue of approximately 4.48 billion yuan, with a total annual profit of 334.4 million yuan. After taxes, the estimated annual net profit is around 224.4 million yuan, which demonstrates the project's strong financial potential. In addition to the main project, Jianghuai Automobile has also decided to invest an additional 24.6747 million yuan in the second phase of the initiative. This funding will be directed toward increasing its stake in Hefei Jianghuai Foundry Co., Ltd. Upon completion of this capital increase, the company’s total investment in the foundry will reach 232.4535 million yuan, representing 98.98% of the company's total capital. This move underscores Jianghuai Automobile's long-term commitment to expanding its manufacturing capabilities and strengthening its position in the automotive industry.
